Designated Employer Representative (DER) Training Webinar

‍Learner Outcomes

 This training will help prepare the DER to properly perform duties as required by DOT regulations found in 49 CFR Part 40 with a primary focus on FMCSA regulations. This training will also assist the DER of non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.

 At the end of the training session, the attendee will know:

1)    What is a DER?

2)    What are the responsibilities of the DER position?

3)    Who are “service agents” and what are their roles?

4)    What are the training requirements for supervisors and employees?

5)    How is a “positive” drug or alcohol test handled?

6)    Are there record-keeping requirements for the DER?

7)    How are problems in the collection process handled?

8)    And much more!

Participants will receive a certificate of training compliance.

Attendees will receive the webinar link 7 days prior to the event. They will then receive reminder emails with the webinar link 1 day and 1 hour before broadcast. Certificates will be emailed to the participant 1-5 business days after the event has concluded.
